I LIVE IN TIMBUKTU, WILL A BOX WORK FOR ME?
Yes, that’s the point! The Rehab Box allows us to help you no matter your location.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
You can expect to receive your Rehab Box about 6-8 weeks once we've received your photos, room measurements and payment. Why? Because we take the time we need to give you a thoughtful design tailored to your specific needs and style preferences.
HOW MUCH COMMUNICATION IS INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS?
Back and forth is kept to a minimum because you give us all the info we need up front! We will send you an inspiration board for approval before we begin your design to make sure you are thrilled with the direction. Once you have received your box, we have a phone call to walk through the design and answer any questions you have.
WHAT COMES IN THE BOX?
In the Box, you receive:
• a printed design board
• floor plan
• items prioritized by budget
• our designer secrets on how to hang window panels
• tips on indoor plants
• paint swatches
• fabric and wallpaper samples, as applicable.
After you receive your Box, we send shopping links to specific items via email.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T LIKE IT?
We will lose sleep over it! (Seriously.) We want you to love your space so we allow for one round of revisions after you receive your Rehab Box. For example, we'll update the floor plan to accommodate a different coffee table, or send additional recommendations for side chairs if you didn't like our recommendations. We've had great successes with the Rehab Box.

HOW MANY OPTIONS FOR A SOFA DO I GET?
We include usually 2-3 options for each item. For example, 2-3 sofa options, 2-3 coffee table options, 2-3 side table options, etc.
WILL YOU WORK WITH MY EXISTING FURNITURE PIECES?
Yes! We are glad to. We will need measurements and pictures of the pieces you want us to work with. We will, however, be completely honest if an existing piece just doesn’t work in your space or with your aesthetic, and recommend a backup option.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A REHAB BOX AND FULL-SERVICE DESIGN?
The main difference is in the process:
With a Rehab Box, we present you with a finished design that you can implement as your time and budget allow. The Box is priced at a competitive rate because we spend less time managing the project and more time designing! You take the measurements and pictures, we send you the design, and you purchase the items and oversee putting together the space. (This is why it doesn't matter where you live to use a Rehab Box.)
Full-service design includes quite a bit of designer/client back and forth communication, in-person meetings and presentations, and approval on every single item as it is chosen. With full service, we also coordinate with your contractor and any service providers (painters, installers, etc), can make purchases for you, and manage every step of the project. We do take on long-distance full-service projects on case by case basis.
HOW DO I DECIDE BETWEEN A REHAB BOX AND FULL-SERVICE?
• Do you like to do things yourself but need specific guidance? The Box!
• Are you on a tight budget? The Box.
• Do you get overwhelmed easily when it comes to interiors and have trouble making up your mind? Probably full service.
• Would you prefer to be involved in every step of the design process? Full service.
• Is it a simple space that doesn’t require much construction, but needs a floor plan and furniture/accessories specifications? Great situation for a Box!
• Is it a bath, kitchen, or total house remodel? Full service.
WHAT SHOULD MY BUDGET BE FOR A REHAB BOX?
We keep to your budget as much as possible, but also provide a priority list of items and projects in case you can't do everything right away. We find that a minimum budget to really re-design a space is least $5-8k, in addition to the Rehab Box fee ranging $1100-1800 depending on the size of the room.
